The Shohola Township Volunteer Fire and Rescue Inc. provides Basic Life
Support services to community members and visitors within the township
of Shohola. The purpose of the Quick Response Service (QRS) is to
assist the transporting ambulance while on scene.
Currently the Fire Department works with the following transporting
units, Medic 401 (Pike County Paramedics, Medic 404 (Atlantic
Paramedics), 33 Ambulance (Milford BLS Ambulance),and 21 Ambulance
(Lackawaxen BLS Ambulance).
The Shohola Fire and Rescue Inc. uses firefighters trained in the
medical field of Advanced First Aid, First Responder, and EMTs, to
assist the community and its visitors.
