Freds Freeway Search
On Feb, 28, 2009 Shohola Fire and Rescue was dispatched for a search for a missing male in the area of Freds Freeway off Shohola Falls Road. The victim was found DOA floating under the dock behind his home approximately 4 hours after the search began.
Units On Scene: Sta 41 Command Trailer w/brush trucks & quads. Multiple m/a companies also.
On March, 28, 2009 Shohola Fire and Rescue was dispatched for a brush fire that was possibly endangering a structure and moving quickly.

On July 7, 2009 Shohola Fire and Rescue was dispatched for a large tree down on wires on the corner of Shohola Falls Road & Route 434. SVFR FP set up cones and closed the road until PPL could repair the wires and restore power to the area.

On July 7, 2009 Shohola Fire and Rescue was dispatched for a car v tree w/2 persons entrapped w/serious injuries. Upon arriving, 41-1 found a male driver and female passenger heavily entrapped in a Chevy Equinox. Route 6 was closed while an extended extrication was performed. Both patients were transported to a trauma center via medivac from the Trails End Ball Field.
